About Me

Digital ARTIST

I am a senior at The University of North Carolina Wilmington majoring in Digital Art with a minor in Computer Science. I am passionate about creating engaging, original designs that communicate clear and meaningful messages. I enjoy learning new skills and thrive in team environments.

Project Overview

The goal of this project was to rebrand the logo for the UNCW Digital Art major. It was essential to the Department of Art & Art History that the design reflected the true essence of being a Digital Art student, while remaining cohesive with the university’s brand and colors. I began to explore several mockup concepts, incorporating elements like a computer mouse and abstract line work.

After receiving feedback from my professor and a fellow Art student, I was encouraged to develop a pattern that visually shows how Digital Art combines two different fields, tech and art. The final design features both technical elements and creative tools, showing the balance between creativity and technology.

Personal Logo

Project Overview

For this project, I designed a personal logo that reflects who I am as an artist. My goal was to create something professional, unique, and visually engaging. I began by researching logos that inspired me, studying what made each design stand out. From there, I gathered these insights and began sketching to explore different ideas.

My initial vision was to use a hand-drawn
style for the “ZS” lettering. However, after experimenting with this direction, I felt it didn’t capture the clean and modern look I wanted. I decided to pivot and explore different typefaces, which ultimately led me to the final design.
